Yeah, I know it isn’t barbecue. But coffee preparation is so cool.
What you’re seeing here is a siphon pot (or vacuum pot) being prepared at Frank, arguably one of the best coffee shops/bar/meat house in Texas. A siphon pot brews the coffee in an upper chamber, then returns it to the bottom chamber while filtering out all the grounds. The resulting coffee is smooth as silk and all the flavors shine through perfectly.
The beans are Heart Ethiopian and they are absolutely amazing.
